Claire's Transgender Talks

Understanding Transgender & Non Binary Identities

Notice - October 2025

Due to the ongoing and increasingly hostile environment towards transgender, non-binary and gender diverse people in the UK leading to personal safety concerns, we are currently unable to provide training services at this time, however we are still available for speaking engagements.

The UK Adult Gender Services Monitor 2025

This monitoring dashboard has been developed due to the continuing failures of the National Health Service to provide transparency and accountability in regards to the performance of the UK’s adult gender services.

The dashboard is an ongoing research and monitoring project that collates and analyses data obtained via Freedom of Information Act requests from all fully commissioned NHS gender services for adults.

The 2025 Dashboards can be accessed via the buttons below.

Press & Media Coverage

The Adult Gender Clinic Monitor enabled several organisations to cover the issues in regards to adult gender services.

It was used and covered extensively by the fantastic organisations QueerAF & What The Trans!? in a series of articles and podcasts throughout October 2025 entitled ‘The Gender Clinic Files’. You can find links to these articles and podcasts below, but it’s well worth following & accessing both organisations content.

TedX Bath 2021

I had the honour to take part in a TEDx event in 2021, hosted by TEDx Bath in conjunction with Bath Spa University.

The theme was ‘Interconnected’, and my talk was called “A ‘radical’ idea - Transgender People Are People”, looking at how transgender people and other minorities are dehumanised here in the UK, and some simple things you can do to improve matters.

Trans in 2025

Unfortunately the situation in the UK has deteriorated substantially since I delivered this talk, with the Government across multiple political backgrounds and leaderships moving towards removing the rights and destroying the lives of transgender people across the country, aided and abetted by political appointees across numerous public bodies, ignoring established human rights laws and structures, attempting to strip us of established legal protections & healthcare access.

So much so that trans people are now being faced with a nationwide toilet & defacto existing in public ban and unacknowledged conversion abuse practices delivered by the NHS.

This is the reality of transgender lives in the UK in 2025.
