Carers of Barking & Dagenham, Thurrock Young Carers

We had the pleasure of delivering a Transgender & Intersex Awareness workshop yesterday to the staff of Carers of Barking & Dagenham & Thurrock Young Carers, a charity supporting all those who are carers for for others.

We spent the morning talking about everything Transgender, a little about Intersex and had a lot of fun in a relaxed, safe environment.

Attendees left the session much more informed about Transgender people and the issues we face, and much more confident in how to support transgender clients.
